We All Need Design (WAND.) was founded in Bangalore in 2024. We are a nimble, fully remote, multidisciplinary team of designers, writers, strategists and developers, and we work from wherever we do our best thinking. Between us, our work has spanned technology, retail, finance, culture and social impact, and that range keeps us curious.
We take on only a handful of clients at a time, so we can partner closely with each one. There is no template and no fixed package. Every brief gets an approach shaped around the people, the problem and the ambition behind it.

Santosh Hegde
Founder & Design Principal
Santosh Hegde is the founder of WAND, a boutique studio he started in 2024 after two decades of shaping digital products, platforms and brands.
Santosh’s focus is experience direction: helping organisations build one coherent system rather than a stack of screens. As InMobi’s Global Head of Design for more than seven years, and later as the VP of Design at Yubi Group, he led teams across complex platforms and worked closely with product and engineering leadership to close the gap between what the brand said and what the product did.
His journey as an experience director began with a degree in painting and early work on websites and brand identities. Creative director roles followed at Ninestars, where he incubated the digital wing App9 and built web and mobile products for popular publishing houses such as The Hindu Group and Amar Chitra Katha Media Pvt. Ltd. At 2adpro, he was a creative director and an incubator partner, building offshore design houses with hundreds of talented designers. He later earned a master’s degree in creative enterprise management from the London College of Communication.
Santosh, to this day, is actively involved in every single client brief. He still writes the strategy and leads review meetings, which is why the studio stays small on purpose.
