A reader that behaves like a book
Industrial Design — Concept
Dazzle works like a book, with its flexible screen showing real pages as you flip. Reading still feels like paper: turning a page, seeing two pages open, knowing where you are in the story. It uses e-ink, which needs very little power, so it lasts weeks, not hours. A second screen on the cover shows what you’re reading, like a book jacket.
Dazzle was a concept for Displaytronics, made when everyone was rushing to go digital and e-readers were new. Our answer was to slow down and keep the book as it is.
